How to play Lightning Blackjack
As huge fans of the Lightning live games by Evolution, we knew that Lightning Blackjack was in the cards. The live casino provider has once again transformed a classic casino game by introducing multipliers that take the excitement to a higher level. Lightning Blackjack is played like a standard live blackjack game, but lightning multipliers of up to 25x are added to the mix for much higher potential.
Here is how it works: at the beginning of each round, a 100% Lightning fee is applied to your bet. So if you place a bet of $10, an extra $10 will be taken from your balance for a total bet of $20. Once the cards have been dealt, random multipliers between 2x and 25x are applied to the hand values of 17 and below, 18, 19, 20, 21 and blackjack. These will appear on the screen behind the dealer. If you win the hand and beat the dealer, the corresponding multiplier carries over to the next round.
Let’s look at an example. You place a $20 bet ($10 bet + $10 Lightning bet) and win with a 19 against the dealer’s 17. In this round, 19 has a Lightning multiplier of 5x. This means you win the standard $10 bet (19 against 17), and the 5x Lightning multiplier is applied to the next hand you play. If you win the next round, you also win the 5x Lightning multiplier of the original Lightning bet – $50 in this case. Keep in mind that the Lightning multiplier is applied to the next hand you play – not necessarily the next round – which means you can take a break whenever you want and get the Lightning multiplier when you come back (within 180 days).
