In July 2017 game studio Play’n GO launched anime-themed Moon Princess. This game is one of a new genre of slot machines designs known as Grid Slots, which break the mould of the classic 3×3 or 5×3 reel set-ups.
Grid slots are set-up in a format of … well a grid … of varying dimensions, and in the case of Moon Princess a 5×5 grid. As the symbols drop into the 5×5 grid you are looking for initial win combinations of at least 3 vertically or horizontally connected symbols. Each winning combination is instantly collected and additional symbols will drop into the grid to form potentially new winning combinations.

Feature 1 – Girl Power Feature:
This feature randomly appears on a non-winning spin and the feature you get will depend on which of the 3 Princess’ is present on the right of the screen at the time its triggers. They trigger the following features:
Love Princess: One set of symbols transformed into another symbol
Star Princess: One or two wild symbols added to the grid
Storm Princess: Two sets of symbols are destroyed and removed
Feature 2 – Free Spins:
Free spins are not triggered very often, but they typically pay very well. To trigger then you need the initial winning combinations to clear the entire 5×5 grid.
